Have a good one everyone! You will find a nod to the Irish on a goodly few of the MWR shows - Tues March 17th at 7pm Mack's Tracks with The Mack will be highlighting some of the very best Celtic sounds.

At His Majesty's (Dis)Pleasure with Inmate B42359 and the prison gang will also be celebrating St. Patrick's Day on the wing! Next run of this show is 11am on Wednesday 18th March and thereafter on Mixcloud.

Sadly, Choose The Choons will be ending but will be replaced by Scanny's Bangers - yes - Scanny is joining MWR as a DJ on 7th April alongside his bestie Andy Craik with another new show Andy's Old Bangers! So effectively you will lbe getting 2 for 1!

We are also overjoyed to have Deej Queenie Tripple s also joining the Mad Wasp Radio Family as well! There will be a bit of a re-jig of the MWR Schedule this week and we will be announcing the start date in March shortly :D

THIS WEEK'S SONAR SAFARI SPECTACULAR!

1st run Saturday 21st February 2026 at 8pm our DJ SpaceTerrapin - DJST brings you something special with Sonar Safari 005

This will literally be a dream come true. You will have heard of Project Moonbase, and Robert Baldock. They had to pull the plug for that show in 2017 as Robert unfortunately suffered a stroke and Aphasia/Dyspraxia. However, last year DJST heard he is now collaborating with a scientist to get "his voice" back, with the help of AI and some technical voodoo that is beyond DJST's understanding, and with quite some effort he can now "speak" again - a marvel, nothing less.

The first results he heard were nothing short of amazing. But it is still tough going. So DJST convinced the Project Moonbase (yes, incl. Andy aka MC Zirconium) team to make a show within the show, and he would frame it adequately, and it worked! And hooray. Tonight is the result! If you can't make the first run then check out our shedule pages for the repeats. You WILL NOT be disappointed!
