Dave started with a local community radio station in 2011, presenting a sports show but then soon progressed to bringing a weekly blues show to the airwaves. This quickly found a lot of regular fans from all across the world and in 2014, he was named Independent Blues Broadcaster of the Year at the British Blues Awards. He also dabbled with prog and generalrRock shows and was a regular on the Breakfast Show too. After leaving the station in 2016, he set up a home studio and has been producing The Country Mile since January 2017.
